How to play

  1. Press Play. A block starts sliding above the tower.
  2. Tap, click or press Space to drop it.
  3. Any part hanging over the edge is sliced off and falls away.
  4. Keep going until a block misses the tower completely.

Tips for building higher

  • Watch the guide lines. The dashed lines above the tower mark its edges — drop when the sliding block lines up with them.
  • Find a rhythm. The block bounces at the same points every time, so count the beat rather than chasing it with your eyes.
  • Chain perfects. From the third perfect in a row, every perfect drop widens your block again.
  • Small is still alive. A thin tower is harder but not over. Slow down, breathe, and aim for perfects to win width back.

Milestones

Height 10 takes you above the trees, 20 into the clouds, 35 to cruising altitude and 50 to the edge of space. Past that, the sky turns dark and the stars come out. Can you reach the Moon at 100?

How do I play Sky Stack?

A block slides back and forth above your tower. Tap, click or press Space to drop it. Whatever hangs over the edge is sliced off, so each block can only be as wide as the overlap with the one below.

What is a perfect drop?

If the block lands almost exactly on top of the one below, nothing is cut off and you get a PERFECT. Three or more perfects in a row make the block grow back a little, which gives you room to recover from earlier mistakes.

Does it get harder?

Yes. The sliding block gets faster as your tower grows, up to a little more than twice its starting speed. The sky changes as you climb — through the clouds, into the sunset and finally out into space.

Can I play it on my phone?

Yes. Sky Stack is designed for one-tap play, so it works the same on phones, tablets, Chromebooks and computers. Tap anywhere on the game to drop a block.
